The Past Month

Okay...   I know that I've been really failing for the past few weeks...   There's just so much going on and homework to do and this is kind of low on the totem pole.  Buttt As of right now I'm avoiding some homework so I figured I would take a break and do some of this !!!  Mostly just weekends though... nothing TOO interesting happens during the week (just plenty of time in the library).  SO!
Got back from Poland, that was a blast etc etc....  then that weekend I was in Rome for the World War Two trip.  It was really cool, it's a couple of alumni that lead it every semester and they were both pretty cool.

It was a pretty good trip =)   Then classes happened and blah blah blah....  then I took off for Greece!  Greece was a blast.  One of my professors knew the manager of this resort, so we stayed at a five star resort for a really reasonable price  =)   It was great.  This was the view from my room.
And there was a (delicious) buffet for both breakfast and dinner.  So much fun.  The first day we went to a museum and a tomb.  Pictures were definitely not allowed buttt this happened anyways:
It was really well preserved... Then we went back and just hung out at the resort (This trip was really just like a relaxing vacation)

Then the next day we went to go see some ancient ruins.  Theaters and bath houses and such.

Thennn we went back to the resort and hung out again...  I went and sat by the sea and got some reading done   It was absolutely gorgeous.  We went out that night, but it was really lame so a few of us just went back and talked for a while.

It was a really great weekend =)   Then classes happened and blah blah blah.   Haha   honestly not much happened the next weekend.  I had a 10 page paper and all of my friends that were in town had big projects or papers or something to worry about...  Really we just didn't do much.  But I have lots of pictures of playing cards that happened both that weekend and throughout that week (anytime that we wanted to avoid our homework....   Kyle and I went on a streak of playing war...  One night we played a game that lasted almost two hours)

We played so long that we took a soda break
 His winning play

Haha this was just too good of a picture to pass up
 We were so tired

 This happened a different night...
It set me on the losing streak for the night  =(
Yeah we don't know why this happened

The next weekend I was still in Rome, but this time Christine and Kyle did things with me!!!   Saturday we went to Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, and just walked around a bunch.  It was actually a lot of fun!

Then Sunday Kyle and I went to Porta Porghese, a huge flea market that just sells everything... It was really cool to get to see.
This is just one of my favorite views of the Vatican: I love walking up this street (so we did it on the way home)

It was one of my favorite weekends in Rome so far  =)  I had a ton of fun.  So then I went to classes and blah blah blah.  Haha then this past weekend I was in Florence!!! It is so beautiful.  I absolutely loved the city.  It was much smaller than Rome, but we were able to walk it in a day and just hang out.  Most people think that three days is too much in Florence, but we were able to relax and just really enjoy it...  I'm so glad that I went =)
Haha needed to break a 50 (almost impossible to do in Italy) so she ordered two small fries... and they gave her that bag  lol
 Il Duomo

Academia gallery (home of the David)

 Ponte Vecchio

Back to Il Duomo because I never took a picture in front of it (failing).  Also because you really couldn't get many places without passing it

Now I'm home and have classes and blah blah blah.   Haha   It's been a really fun couple of weeks.  This weekend I'll be in London, and then finals start.  I was told today that we leave in 18 days...  It's kind of incredible to be honest.   Also I decided that after I'm home for Christmas I'll do just one more blog post of pictures that I steal off of everyone else's facebooks.  We all upload at different times and I just can't keep up or find things between homework and traveling and such.  So there will be more pics to come (always... so many pictures)

Anyways, back to my Italian composition

Ciao!
